Biography

Gu Yunpeng graduated from Peking Union Medical College and is a part-time doctoral candidate. He is currently an attending physician at the Body Sculpting and Liposuction Center of Badachu Plastic Surgery Hospital and a Youth Council Member of the Oculoplastic and Aesthetic Branch of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery. With 9 years of clinical experience in plastic surgery, he specializes in body contouring and facial contouring, mainly through liposuction and fat grafting, and has completed more than 3,000 procedures. Every year, he is invited to participate in discussions at authoritative plastic surgery conferences in Taiwan, South Korea, the United States, Japan, and other locations. As a formally trained plastic surgeon born in the 1980s, Dr. Gu has developed an original aesthetic system for Eastern female facial morphology. He advocates a balance between surgical costs and benefits, emphasizes patients' intraoperative and postoperative experience, and creates natural, refined faces and body shapes suited to Asian people, striving to enhance the appearance and confidence of the new generation of Chinese people.

Research: He has participated in and led multiple research projects, including the Youth Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Peking Union Medical College Youth Fund, and the Beijing Peking Union Medical College Institute Fund. He has published dozens of articles in Chinese and English, including 3 SCI papers as first author in international journals. In 2009, he won third prize in the Basic Category at the First Peking Union Medical College Song Ruyao Plastic Surgery Young Physician Forum.
